My family has been farming in Wisconsin for a few hundred years, and having spent so much time on my grandpa’s farm while growing up taught me how tough farming really is, but also how rewarding it can be. So much has changed within the industry and with the outside forces influencing the farmers of today. Those currently farming face a constantly evolving list of challenges, ranging from market shifts, tariffs, right to repair laws, rising fuel and fertilizer costs, workforce intimidation from immigration enforcement, and so on. I’m excited to meet with the Wisconsin Farmers Union this Saturday to talk about how I can be the best advocate for famers and farm families of Wisconsin and District 8! America’s Dairyland was built by the hard work of our farmers, and I’m committed to working with them to make sure our farming community stays strong for now and the future!

My Friday Against Fascism Livestream! It’s genuinely important for our government officials to be transparent and in on-going discussions with the people they represent. As this primary election draws near, I’m having a Livestream event on multiple platforms, encouraging your participation and questions!

We’ve repeatedly asked our current Representative Tony Wied to hold town halls and he ignores us. This is not the way to care for the citizens here and not the way to stay in touch with the position of Representative.

I’m showing up this Friday night at 7pm to speak directly with you, answer questions, share stories, and share ideas on how we make this district and state more affordable, safer for everyone, protect our environment, provide childcare and healthcare to all our citizens, and show how much power the federal government has for doing things that help the people of the United States by actually doing things to help them! Tune in and let’s talk!

It’s the first Thursday of the month, which means it’s meeting night for the LGBTQ community at the Napalese Lounge! I’ll be attending this night and will be happy to meet you and talk about what I plan to do to protect our human rights, marriage equality, and the LGBTQ+ community once I get to Washington. Actions toward this that I’m already preparing for are: an LGBTQ+ Bill of Rights; establishing LGBTQ+ sanctuary cities within our district; re-establishing the office of Attorney General of the United States as an elected position because of the current dereliction of duty within the office holders to uphold the Constitutional protections of citizens of the United States amid attacks on trans and LGBTQ rights at the level of state legislatures.
